After the speech of Deng Xiaoping’s south Cruises, with the spring breeze of the reform and opening-up, Gansu Jianxin Industrial Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Jianxin Group, was established in 1992. Through more than 10 years of painstaking efforts, it has developed into a big enterprise group focusing on project investment and capital operation.

The group is consisted of 8 group companies, namely Gansu Jianxin Industrial Group, Inner Mongolia Hua’ao Mining Chemical Industrial Group, Sichuan Zhongsai Industrial Group, Gansu Xinzhou Mining Group, Dadu Sunshine Film & TV Group and Beijing Jianxin Higher Education Group. It has more than 60 subsidiaries and branches, with footprints in 13 provinces or municipalities in our country and 3 foreign countries or districts. The group has 5 billion Yuan in total assets, with an annual tax payment of 1.5 billion Yuan and more than 10,000 employees.

From 1998 to 2005, the group was consecutively ranked as “AAA Credit Enterprise” by China Agricultural Bank and China Construction Bank; in 2001, it was entitled the “Leading Enterprise to Develop the Non-public Economy of the Province” by the provincial CPC Committee and government; in 2003, it was granted the honor of “Honest Tax-payment Superior Enterprise”, “Employment Settlement Superior Enterprise”, “Honest Client Enterprise”, “Outstanding Enterprise for Export Earning”, “the Most Competitive Enterprise in Gansu Province” and so on by the China National Industry & Commerce Federation, State Administration of Taxation, Government of Gansu Province, China Banking Association and other departments.
In 2004, Liu Jianmin, Board Chairman of Jianxin Group, was entitled the “National Non-public Economic Person and Outstanding Socialism Venture Erector” by 5 departments including the United Front Work Department of CPCCC and National Development and Reform Commission, and was met by leaders of the party and the state for many times; in 2005, Mr. Liu Jianmin was granted with the honor of “Model Worker of Gansu Province” by the Gansu CPC Party Committee and the Provincial Government.
